About our Creative Youth Show
Project GEM created this “show and tell” exhibit display specifically for youth we serve within your community. It gives the public a chance to see what we are doing and how we make a difference in the lives of youth with special needs.
The arts give youth an opportunity to be creative and use their imagination in a positive way. The show helps build self-confidence, self-esteem, social skills, and to take pride in something they created on their own.
Project GEM was created in 1993 in Mankato, Minnesota, and is a local non-profit outreach educational youth program that focuses on the arts through cultural, environmental, and holistic/social education.
A very big “thank you!” goes out to county venues for supporting our youth exhibit show and offering their in-kind space donation!
